History

Pisgah Lutheran Church is truly blessed to serve our community by offering full-time, year-round educational and daycare programs.

Pisgah Preschool opened its doors in 2003 with two staff members and five children. The program started as a three day a week program, and within a year, went to five days a week.

In 2007, we added an afterschool program and changed our name to Pisgah Child Development Ministry (Pisgah CDM).

Then our next milestone began – construction. We kicked off the 2008 school year with five new classrooms in the new wing and two classrooms in the old wing. Very soon, we had to convert another room in the old wing for an additional classroom.

As our space grew, so did our programs. We were able to offer half-day preschool, full-day preschool, and afterschool. We were also able to start offering extra activities such as Spanish, yoga, and Soccer Shots.

Today, Pisgah CDM employs 18 wonderful staff members and serves 163 children (18 months – 6th grade) We pick up after schoolers from 8 different schools.

There have been a lot of changes and growth, but the thing that remains constant is the love and care our staff and congregation shows for the children that we serve.

We look forward to what the future holds.
