CALENDAR AND CLOSINGS

All PCDM activities will be closed the following days:

• Labor Day (09/04/2023)
• Thanksgiving (11/23/2023, 11/24/2023)
• Christmas (12/25/2023 – 12/29/2023)
• New Year’s Day (1/1/2024)
• Martin Luther King Day (01/15/2024)
• Good Friday (03/29/2024)
• Memorial Day (05/27/2024)
• Independence Day (07/04/2024)

Students who are enrolled for half-day preschool will NOT be able to
attend during the following Lexington School District One Breaks:
Christmas Break (December 18^th – January 1^st)
Spring Break (April 1^st – 5^th)

Summer Break

Families will not be charged for these weeks but will also NOT receive
a vacation week for the school year.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

If Lexington One closes early or opens late due to inclement weather, we will follow the same schedule.
For example, if Lexington One schools have a two-hour delay, we will open at 9:30 am.
Please look at WLTX (channel 19) and/or WIS (Channel 10) for school delays, closings, etc.
We will also send notifications and updates via Brightwheel.

If the schools are closing earlier due to inclement weather, you will need to pick your child up within one hour of school dismissal. An email will be sent out regarding the early dismissal of our preschool/preschool plus students.
Our PCDM Buses WILL NOT pick-up when schools are closing due to inclement weather.
A telephone call will be made to schools we pick-up from to announce that Pisgah bus riders will need to be car riders.
Please listen to local radio or television stations for announcements of school closings.
In a case when Lexington School District One is closed, we will follow Lexington County Offices.

IN-SERVICE DAYS AND SEVERE WEATHER MAKE-UP DAYS

We will be open these days. However, a lunch and drink should be brought each day.
Full-time children will have $15.00 added to their weekly tuition for each day the district is closed.
Drop-In children will pay the $30 daily rate.
